Recurring order terms.

What a recurring order is, what it costs, when it happens, and how to change or stop it. These terms apply in addition to our terms of service and research-use disclaimer.

What a recurring order is

A recurring order is a standing order for the same research reagents on a fixed interval you choose. It is a purchasing arrangement and nothing more: it carries no membership, no tier, no points, and no entitlement beyond the goods on the order.

A recurring order is never selected for you. It is set up only where you explicitly choose the recurring option on a product page and separately confirm both the research-use statement and your consent to a recurring arrangement before checkout.

Interval and next order date

Intervals are set in days — 30, 60 or 90 days. Your first order is placed immediately through our ordinary checkout. Your next order is scheduled for the chosen number of days after that, and each order after it follows at the same interval.

You can change the interval at any time from your recurring orders page. A new interval applies from the order after your next one; the next order date itself does not move unless you move it.

Amount

The amount shown per order at setup is the amount of the goods on that order at the prices in effect when you set it up. Shipping and any applicable tax are calculated at checkout and are not included in that figure.

Recurring orders are priced the same as one-time orders. We do not advertise a recurring discount, because no discount is applied at checkout. If that ever changes, the discount will be shown at setup and applied to what you are actually charged.

Volume tier pricing, where it applies to a compound, is calculated on the quantity of that compound on the order in the ordinary way.

How each order is paid

We do not store payment card details and nothing is ever charged automatically. No payment method is held on file for a recurring order.

Before each scheduled order we email you a notice stating what will ship, when, and the amount, together with one-click options to skip that order, pause the schedule, or cancel it. Payment is then made against an invoice, the same way a one-time order is paid today. An order is dispatched only once it has been paid.

If we introduce card payment for recurring orders in future, card details would be entered only on a payment provider's own hosted page — never on this website — and you would be asked to authorise it explicitly. Nothing on your existing schedule would change without your agreement.

Notice before every order

You receive a notice by email three days before each scheduled order. The notice restates the items, quantities, interval, amount, and the research-use statement, and gives you one-click controls to skip, pause, or cancel.

If you do not want a particular order, skipping it before that order is placed costs you nothing and does not end the arrangement.

Skip, pause, reschedule, and change

From your recurring orders page you can skip the next order, pause the schedule indefinitely, resume it, or change the interval. Every one of these takes effect immediately and is recorded against the order with the date and time it was made.

To change what is on a recurring order, cancel it and set up a new one, or contact us and we will amend it for you.

Cancellation

You can cancel a recurring order at any time, online, in no more steps than it took to set up. Cancellation is immediate and takes effect at once: nothing further is scheduled and nothing further is invoiced.

There is no cancellation fee, no minimum number of orders, no notice period, and no requirement to telephone or email anyone. The cancel control is on your recurring orders page and in every notice email.

An order that has already been paid for is treated as an ordinary order from that point and is covered by our normal terms.

Price changes

The price you set up at is held for twelve months. Any change after that is notified to you by email at least thirty days before it takes effect, and the notice carries a one-click cancel. If you do nothing and do not want the new price, cancel before it applies.

We will never re-price an existing recurring order without notifying you first.

Research use

Every order placed on a recurring schedule is subject to the same research-use terms as any other order. All products are laboratory reagents supplied exclusively for in vitro research by qualified researchers. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, food, or medical devices, are not for human or veterinary use, and no dosing, administration, therapeutic, or benefit claims are made or implied.

A recurring order is not, and does not operate as, a standing waiver of those terms. You give the research-use confirmation at setup, and the research-use statement is restated in the notice before every single order, alongside the controls to skip or cancel it. Read the full research-use disclaimer.

Our right to end a schedule

We may pause or end a recurring order at any time, including where a product is discontinued or unavailable, where an invoice is unpaid, where an order appears to be intended for human or veterinary use, or where shipment would conflict with applicable law. Where we do, we tell you, and you are never charged for goods you have not received.
